Episode #17: Adaptations

Robert Horton gives a talk on adaptations for Humanities Washington.   That got us thinking about the successful, unsuccessful  adaptations and wondering why so many films are adaptations. Do too many filmmakers rely on books or plays when creating movies?  Is this just the norm, the way our stories move through the culture?

We are at Scarecrow Video again for our podcast. Drop by there if you never have. It’s worth a gander.

And Steve had a nice essay on KCTS TV’S Pie.  But it isn’t about the movies.
